They are shallow bays on both sides covered with beautiful coral. You’ll find brain, deer horn, wire and star corals. Once you’ve reached the deeper areas on the reef wall, you will see one of Curaçao's largest and most impressive sights. There are also several dive schools located in Curaçao where you can get your diving certificate at a very reasonable rate. Nowhere in the world you can get an introduction to the underwater world this simple and inexpensive!
It’s just a 20-30 minute car ride to beautiful beaches such as Porto Mari, Bonbini Beach (Cas Abao), Daaibooibaai or to the beautiful Christoffel Park. (national park)
Main attractions of the island are close: the Sea Aquarium, the historic town of Willemstad (World heritage list UNESCO) with its many shops, cafes and "floating market". You can also visit one of the many amazing museums, You shouldn’t miss the Slave Museum "Kura Hulanda" in Otrabanda. And do not forget to pay a visit to the Hato Caves and the Ostrich Farm. Surprisingly nice!
For a delicious dinner in the area you will definitely find a nice restaurant of your choice, the cuisine ranges from Caribbean to Indonesian. And you'll notice that "eating outdoors" will certainly be affordable too.
